Clinical Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant (level 5)
The Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant Program is nationally recognised as a Level 5 course. The Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant will study the philosophy, practical assessment and therapeutic methods of Ayurveda.
Students learn how to assess the constitutional body type (Prakriti), psychological profile and current health status (Vikriti) of an individual according to traditional Ayurvedic medicine. The students will also be trained to provide therapeutic regimes to restore balance to their clients through the use of herbs, meditation, nutrition, lifestyle counseling, daily and seasonal routines, Ayurvedic massage, Shirodhara therapy, Kati Basti therapy and Ayurvedic cooking.
Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultants have the opportunity, once qualified, to take on further training through the AIAS Diploma in Ayurveda (Level 7).
